Arsenal Score Three in Seven Minutes to Beat Lille in the Champions League

Arsenal claimed a convincing 3-0 victory over French side Lille on Tuesday, securing their second consecutive win in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.

The two teams failed to find the net in the first half, but Arsenal raised their level after the break and turned the match in their favour with three goals in the space of just seven minutes.

Dutch defender Jurrien Timber broke the deadlock in the 64th minute, before Eberechi Eze doubled the hosts’ advantage three minutes later. Bukayo Saka then completed the scoring in the 71st minute, putting the result beyond doubt.

The victory gives Arsenal six points from their opening two matches, maintaining their winning start to the European campaign. Lille, meanwhile, remain pointless after suffering defeats in both of their first two games.
